All GP surgeries in Portsmouth will be closed on the following Wednesday afternoons:

It is essential that our staff are trained regularly to maintain and improve on the level of service offered. While the surgeries are closed you can still access medical treatment through 111, Out-of-hours doctors, and walk-in-centres such as St. Mary’s Treatment Centre.
- For urgent medical help, use the NHS 111 online service. If you cannot get help online or you need urgent help for a child under 5 call 111.
- For urgent dental treatment, call your dentist or use the NHS 111 online service if you cannot contact your dentist or you do not have one.
- For life-threatening emergencies, call 999 for an ambulance.
